Mychigan ran away from home yesterday morning. I told her I loved her and good luck finding another family. She was "gone" for about 20 minutes, but I had Sabryna look in on her to make sure she was still just hiding at the side of the house. When she finally came in, she said she hadn't really run away, and I told her how much I had missed her. She said she would never run away again.... we shall see. ;) Nice try on her part though.
Rest time is stress time for me. My kids don't nap anymore, but I would go insane without a 'rest' time in the middle of the day. So they watch movies in their room so I can rest and they can 'rest'. Haha. I think this is the time of the day when they most whine, argue, fight, tattle, and do anything they can think of to come and bug me. It will be nice when Mychigan finally starts kindergarten and all I have is Daisy Mae and the baby. Then rest time might actually be for resting!
Our grocery store trip wasn't as bad as I had imagined. They did ask for a few things, but not much. Just a big bouncy ball and some candy, neither of which they got. Mychigan and Daisy wandered a bit, which is fine as long as I can spot them at any given moment. I have learned that it's easier to have them look at things and wander a bit than to try to confine them right at my side. I know I should, but Mychigan is such an instigator and Daisy screams so loud, that I would rather have them not near each other. :) They like to chat with people too, my kids aren't shy in the least. Mostly they introduce themselves and our whole family and ask people what their names are. We weren't there long, so it was a good trip.
