I think the doors being open saved her from major injury because they created a "cave or dome" on her. The top part hit her face though, and her fingers got smashed. I hope her teacher doesn't think I beat her over the weekend when she goes back to school on Monday. :S
This is actually a picture of "after" but it serves the purpose as the "before" picture too, since it looked the same.
This is on it's side after I "threw" it off of her. It's amazing the adrenaline you get when someone you love is hurt or something, I didn't even feel the thing when I lifted it, and it's heavy!Sabryna says I threw the baby, but I know I just set her down, albeit maybe a little roughly in my haste to get to Mychigan. She did cry when I set her down, but Sabryna picked her up and she stopped crying immediately. I know she was just upset to be set down so abruptly.
Surveying the damage...Mychigan with Ice on her cheek bone where it hit. :(
Mychigan's 'owie'. You can't see it well, but you can get an idea.
With flash. Don't think you can see it any better...
She is doing better today, but says her face hurts pretty badly. Dell attached the stupid thing to the wall immediately afterwards, as I had been asking him to for months now. It's sad that we had to have an accident to get him to do it, but maybe now he will do things in a more prompt manner. :)We were going to do some of the things on the 100 things list last night, but this kinda took over, so we will do some today! Hope everyone is having a great day!
Oh, and is anyone else's spell check not working?

Poor thing! My daughter had an accident yesterday too! She was standing on my toilet while I was doing my hair and fell face first into the sink! Her lip is swollen and black and blue!
Oh I hope she is feeling better! You just never know what's going to happen with these kids.
ouch! poor kiddo.
yeah my spell check is not working either....and i NEED it!
Oh my word, poor baby girl! We've had things like that happen too. My little Savannah pulled a sofa table over on herself while trying to get a toy off of it, she broke her arm & I thought it broke a rib cuz of where it hit. So scary! We have things attached to the wall too now! I'm so sorry for her accident.
OMG, that looks terrible. That picture gave me chills! It's a good thing you didn't have a TV on top of it! I have some cabinets that are attached to my walls. Once my daughter pulled her dresser over. Luckily it got stopped by her bed. We immediately attached it. Poor girl.

I am so glad that she wasn't seriously hurt! My Hubby thought I was being a bit over protective, but I made him attach stuff to the wall~ our floors are all crooked, so they really need to be stuck really well. I asked him for a LONG time to put the smoke detectors up, there weren't any when we bought the house. It wasn't until a guy from work came in saying his family (cousins) had to go to the hospital for carbon monoxide poisoning that he came home and that night put them up. Sometimes we need a reminder and sometimes that reminder needs to be a bonk on the head! I hope she recovers fast without too much bruising~ Ouch!
ouch! :( glad that all she got was a scrapped up cheek and smashed fingers.
Yes my ABCcheck is also not working .... I thought it was just mt s l o w computer! :p
