Deck the halls!

Well, the tree is up, the Christmas decorations are out, it's officially beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! I love Christmas time, sometimes it feels slow getting the magical feeling of it though. I decided this year that I was just going to enjoy the season and try really hard not to stress about it too much, and not even grumble about the Christmas decorations in town going up before HALLOWEEN! So I have so far, and we have been singing Christmas Carols, and I think so far so good!
We decorated the tree last night and I let the girls do most of the decorating, which is a first for me. I had to do a bit of re-decorating after they were done when I found 3 ornaments on one tiny branch and about 5 ornaments dangling all together touching...stuff like that. But all in all, they did a good job! It's mostly decorated from their eye level down, so I may have to go move some of the ornaments up so it looks symmetrical, but good job kids! We sang and danced while we decorated and had a jolly good time!

The fully decorated tree (we were having so much fun decorating it that I didn't get a picture of us!):

I'm excited for Christmas to come, we have a count down chalk board and Sabryna is counting down! Christmas is coming! Christmas is coming!

I love it! It looks great! How fun!! I have all my rubbermaids of decorations out but I haven't done anything with them. Hopefully today is the day!
I love sweet Miss Ryver, how cute!

Ryver under the tree is adorable. Your tree reminds me of the trees at my moms house. It reminds me of home. How nice is that?

Too funny that you put Ryver on the floor. Something about lights though, it instantly calms them. Glad you had a great time, tree looks pretty.
