I really don't know what the subject matter for this tag is, but I am thinking it is 7 fun or random things about me. I did one similar to this not long ago, but what the heck!
1. I hate bananas. Absolutely. hate. them. I don't like the smell, the texture, the taste, yuck! I can however have a banana in a smoothie as long as it's covered by the berry or citrus taste. And I can eat banana flavored candy like runts or Popsicles. Just not the actual thing straight on.
2. I love to play games. I don't get to play games much though because almost everyone I know doesn't like to play. Except my kids...I like to play 'Candyland, Shoots and Ladders, Hi Ho Cherry Oh!, Memory' and on and on, but they do get old. I would love to have a 'game night' and have people over to play board games...if I could find anyone who liked to!
3. I have no memory. OK, so I have a memory, but it seems like I don't after having my four babies. I think being pregnant kills many many brain cells and they never grow back! My grandma says that my memory is still there, just hiding. Ha funny! I want it to come out of hiding! I think people are quite sick of my 'no memory' excuse. (but it's true!) I try to remember the important things...but mostly I have to write EVERYTHING down, or it's forgotten!
4. I am an animal lover. I think people may know this, but I will say it anyway. I have a hard time saying no to a furry little face, and even though this kitten drives me nuts with her antics, I am totally in love with her. And I love all kinds of animals, even the scaly, cold blooded ones. I'm not afraid to hold snakes, lizards, rats, etc...as long as I know they don't bite. :)
5. I love that I have all girls. I thought that I would be disappointed if I had all girls, but I'm so not! If I had 2 or 3 more, that would be OK with me! I might be changing my tune in a couple of years when they start hitting puberty and the teen years, but for now, I love all my girly girls and that I'm a mom to only girls!
6. I'm afraid of the dark to an extent. I'm not so afraid of it if Dell is home and sleeping with me, but if he has to work late or for some reason isn't sleeping at home, I am afraid. I hear noises and can't sleep well when he isn't there. I hate it when I'm the only one there to protect our children. Not that I couldn't if it came down to it, my mom always said mom's turn into 'momma bears' when their children are threatened and would do anything to protect them, and I agree and believe that would happen, but I don't want to be the only one keeping them safe. It's good to have a back up.
7. I love butterflies. I used to hate them, and think they were ugly on clothes or whatever...but now I love them. Maybe it was just a phase, I don't know. :) But I love them...
Now to tag, hmmm....
(trying to think of people I haven't tagged before:) Cynthia, Maria, Crystal, Kellan....and anyone else that would like to play. :)

Let's see...
I love bananas but HATE the banana Runts.Ew.
I like card games but don't tell. I think it makes me a heathen or something.
I am super forgetful after having babies. Brain pregnancy stinks.
I think animals are fine. But (and don't hate me for this)I so prefer the human variety. I don't want another pet at all. I know I'm going to get voted out on this one.
I love my girls but I am scared for puberty. Five is scary enough with the emotions!
I am the same way about the dark and when Jon isn't home. I am a big baby.
I love the butterflies that Gracie draws all over EVERYTHING!
Great list! :)
Great list, this is fun to read! Glad to see I'm not the only one who loves having girls!
I don't like being alone in the dark either, I have a big mag flashlight (like police) I take that around with me.
I love card games. I especially love poker! I know I'm going straight to hell. sorry. Have you played any of the Scene It's? We love those too! Oh & last Christmas we got the 80's Trivial Pursuit. LOVE. IT. I'm not as good at it as I thought I'd be, but it's still WAY fun!!!
I love your list! Good job!!
You and my SIL could be BFF - she loves games. I did not get the game gene. And ... "I might be changing my tune in a couple of years when they start hitting puberty" - you know I have those twin teenage girls, right? OMG!!!!! Just sayin!
Thanks for the tag - I will add it to the other (5) I haven't done yet - I don't know what's the matter with me - I keep meaning to do them and I just keep putting them off and I like doing them. Thanks for thinking of me, I'll get to them soon. Kellan
I think you'll love your girls even MORE when they become teenagers. My daughter turns 14 tomorrow (I can't believe it!), and I love her more now than ever. She's like my best friend.
I was reading your 7 things, enjoying myself, & then saw that you tagged me! I don't have 7 interesting things about me, so they'll have to be 7 boring-as-dust things.
I'm with Cec. I love animals. As long as they live in other peoples' houses.
And I'm a total gamer! Let's have a game night! What are some of your fav's?
I with ya on the dark thing FOR SURE! Great list, I enjoyed reading more abt you! :)
Oh hey, I forgot to say, come on over and we'll play a game! Cecily- I like card games too... you can come along! :D
Cecily~ hmmmm....I don't really LOVE the banana runts, but can eat them. I don't think just liking the card games makes you a heathen, but BETTING on them may...
I think brain pregnancy stinks too...hehehe, and I am still brain dead after for a long time!
I like the human variety too...a lot.
My girls have the emotions now, whats going to happen when hormones start running through their bodies!?
I love to decorate things with butterflies too...I just love em!
I'm glad I'm not the only baby out there...
Girlymom~ I DO love my girls! Wouldn't have boys (now) for anything!
Kate~ You HEATHEN! Ha! I would probably love all those games too, but haven't had the chance to play any of them. And I always think I'm going to be good at the trivial persuits and never am!
Kellan~ Maybe I will come to you for advice when my girls are going through the puberty and beyond phases...I can't imagine two at once though!
Maria~ I really want my girls to be my best friend! Any tips on how to make that happen? I really don't want them to hate me and think I'm totally a nerd. ???
Crystal~ Hahaha! You make me laugh, I don't think you could even be slightly boring-as-dust! You are always making me laugh!
I like games like pictionary, charades, taboo, scattegories, trivial persuit, phase 10, catch phrase, etc...almost anything...And I'm sure lots that I haven't had the opprotunity to play yet.
Carrie~ Would love to come play, or you could come here! :)
That was sooo fun!!!
Tam
I learned some new things about you! 20 years later and it is still possible! Never knew there was a time when you hated butterflies. :) Aw jeez, my son is a year old and my brain still hasn't engaged! I know before I got pregnant I was pretty ok, so somewhere between the last pregnancy and eight years later your brain turns back on. *shrug* At least I have hope I will one day have my brain back. :) I LOVE TO PLAY GAMES! If only we lived closer we could get together for a game night once a month or something. And our girls are close enough in age they would play well together and Savannah loves taking care of little ones so the grown-ups would almost be guaranteed a little peace while we played! We need a transporter...could you invent that please? It would make long distances so much easier to bear.
I finally posted my 7 things; I saved it as a draft and then posted it so you will have to scroll down to December 6th if you want to see it.
Lots of love and thank you for the great post!
