Fun Weekend

This weekend we went up to visit family. It was so much fun to see family I haven't seen in a long while! I hope it isn't as long between visits again.
We stayed the night Saturday night at my mom's house. That's always fun and my girls always have a great time. I took some pictures in the tree that are great, actually I took quite a few pictures that are great but there are too many to post them all here, so I will just post the best ones. Daisy was peeling a walnut (the tree they are in is a walnut tree) and when she got to the shell she said "Look mom, I was peeling this and when I got it out I got a donut!"

I love the funny things they all say, and wish I didn't forget most of them!
Ryver slept 8 hours Saturday night and 9 hours last night! I'm hoping we are starting a trend! I woke up at 5:30 this morning and almost woke her up because I couldn't see or hear her breathing and I had to put my hand on her chest to make sure, and even that was faint! She was sleeping really well. I love how well she sleeps! It's scary sometimes, but I love it!

Cutest little munchkin, Ryver

I'm pooped still and having a hard time focusing so this is gonna be a short one. We will end with a cute picture of all four of my precious girls.

That's a great picture! I love LOVE that angle for some reason. You sure have pretty little people.

I do the same hand-on-the-chest-to- make-sure-they're-breathing thing with my babies (and some times even with my older kids), especially when they all of a sudden decide to sleep.

I also find myself just staring at them waiting for them to need me...

It was great seeing you this last weekend! Wish we lived closer so we could do it more often. Your girls are adorable!

Oh my word Steph, that is a BEAUTIFUL picture of the girls & I love it!! Good job! The other pics are cute too, but that last one is priceless!
I have tried to keep a mothers journal. My Gramma made me do it with my first one. She said it's the only way you remember. So I just try to jot down a few things as they say them & put them in the journal with the date. It's been nice!!

Kate - A Mother's journal is a good idea! Thanks for giving it to me! Now, just to remember to write in it....

I know, I'm not as good at it as I would like to be. I will say it's easy to make it a habit & write in it on their birthdays. And, just write down what they are into at the time of their b-days.
My Gramma would be horrified if she knew just how bad I am at remembering. Anyhow, try it on their birthdays or Christmas day is easy too.
Good luck!! - Kate
