First off, I had a Dr. appointment up "north" as we call it, and so I had an hour drive there and back. Dell had kept Daisy so I didn't have to drag her through the canyon as well, and he had to 'work' (if you can call it that) at Dominoes for a couple of hours in the afternoon, so I had to hurry back. Then we had to go meet Daisy's Teachers for her pre-school, and man is she excited! She kept saying "This is MY school" the whole time we were there, and was very possessive about it when her sisters were showing her the sights. It was 'mine, mine, mine' which was very cute!
When we got home from that, the girls did their chores really fast while I fed the baby and then got ready for soccer. It was their first game and they were so cute! It's going to be hard when they have a game at the same time, because they will be on different fields, but we will manage. Mychigan was the cutest to watch because for those of you with kindergartners in soccer, they tend to glom around the soccer ball...so you always know where the ball is, in the middle of about 40 kids! Every time she would kick it, she would look over at us and do the thumbs up sign, and then inevitably the ball would fly right past her! Haha, it was so funny to watch! Sabryna did a good job, considering she has never played before. I think she was just excited to be there more than anything. She did get a couple of kicks in though. I think this soccer thing is going to be fun!

Then we were supposed to go to piano lessons, but because of the whirlwind day, we forgot...or more appropriately I forgot. Silly mommy! So I re-scheduled her piano lesson for today.
We got home and did dinner, homework, bath, story, brush teeth, bed...and it was past bedtime by the time that happened.
Ryver ended up sleeping 11 hours last night, probably because she isn't used to being in her car seat for practically the whole day! But it was nice to get that sleep. I am so grateful that she is such a good sleeper!
Daisy said a funny thing to me this morning. She came in (she was watching Patch Adams in her room, I know I have a weird child) and asked "Mom, do you cry with drip drops out of your eyes?" I think she must have seen someone crying on the movie, but I just thought it was cute!
So today is a much more relaxed day...gotta remember those piano lessons though! And they have a primary activity too, but other than that, the day is clear. I hope chores and homework get done before anything else, but trying to cajole my kids into it is another story. They have learned the art of whining and pouting and putting things off until later when they whine and pout and complain a little more. Ahh...such is life. :)

I completely understand the crazy day & the baby never getting out of the car seat! It helps you appreciate the calm days! Hope you have a great Thursday!!

I love your little family!! They are so beautiful! I get really tired on those 'in the car seat all day' days. I just love feeling like a taxi driver. Today I had a walk a thon for a fund raiser and then a carnival for my daughter's school, and i feel like i've run a marathon. Oh well...such is life with kids, eh? Hey! I'm from Utah too! Ogden, actually I don't know if that counts, it's all kind of trashy here, but oh well, it's home for now. Cute blog! Keep it coming!

I love the five year old run around the field game they call soccer! The little ones are so cute!
Here's hoping the weekend is a little more relaxing (ha! If your Sundays are anything like mine weekends are anything but...why do kids seem to turn on the naughty on Sundays? Or is that just mine?)!
Kate - I did have a pretty good Thursday, thank you! I do appreciate the calm days, more than you know!
Matchbox - Thank you for the compliment on my family, I think so too! :) Sometimes it seems like I have run a marathon and then I think back and only can think of a couple of things I did and wonder why I'm so tired! I didn't know Ogden was trashy, I have never really been there for any amount of time. Price is kinda trashy too, in places. Good to meet another fellow Utahn, Thanks for stopping by! I will visit you too!

Cecily - Those 5 year olds are the funnest to watch! Soooo cute!
I think my kids are the naughtiest on Sunday too, maybe that's because they 'can't' do as much as normal. We have rules for sunday (no video games, no computer, no friends...) and they get bored I think...but they sure do turn the naughty on don't they? Makes me grateful when Monday morning comes around and they go back to school!
Ha!
I think you're a Wonder Woman! stop by my blog for details..... you go girl!
