Our weekend wasn't the funnest. The WHOLE family was sick! Ugh! I hate that, and what I hate more is when I get it too! The MOM is NOT supposed to get sick when she has to take care of sick kids and husband!!! Luckily the older two just had a head cold that is gone enough to send them to school today, (I know, I'm bad huh?) and Daisy only has pre-school on Tue - Fri. Hopefully she will be better by tomorrow. She was the worst with a fever, chills, vomiting, achiness, and headaches. I don't know about you, but it's scary when my 3 year old gets a headache! She just basically cried all weekend long. But she is doing better now thank goodness. Ryver just has a runny nose and eyes, but compounded with the shots she got this week, it wasn't fun with her either. And Dell had a head cold too...as well as me. It's not a bad one, so I'm grateful, but a runny nose and a cough is more than enough to deal with while dealing with all the rest. It will be nice when this is all gone and we will be using wwwwaaaaayyyyyy more hand sanitizer or 'magic' as we call it in our house.
So needless to say, chores barely got done on Saturday, and we didn't go to church on Sunday. The primary program is next week and I'm hoping my kids will even remotely know their parts by then. Oh well.
Today Dell is fixing the rain gutter because as we had storminess all weekend and almost flooded the basement, we got a rude awakening that the gutters needed a little repairing. It has gone from summer to winter in like 3 days, what happened to Fall??!? I love the fall! I need those lovely mid temperatures of like 65-75 degrees...I'm not ready for Winter! I guess all I can hope for now is an Indian Summer....but that's doubtful. Maybe it will be a really wet, snowy winter...I would love that too...

So sorry to hear you were sick. That's not fair! We were sick in May with vomit and diarhea on Mother's Day. It was the pits. My Mom brought my gift by. She opened the door threw it in, yelled "Happy Mother's Day!!" And shut the door. It was so sad. Oh well, it was good timing tho. The day before was my Grandpa's funeral, so I was glad that we were just infecting others without knowing instead of vomiting during the service. Life sucks sometimes. Good luck next week with the program!

Being sick stinks--especially when you have it too! Not only are moms not supposed to get sick, we're not really allowed to feel sick either. My husband however, moans and whines like a five year old when he's sick. Like he might die from a cold or something...
I love the fall too! The other morning I woke up and my feet were cold. I was so excited!
Oh Steph, I'm so so sorry! Nothing is worse than the whole fam getting the miserables! I hope you're all feeling better soon! Take care! - Kate
