New Addition

OK, so Sabryna had a sleepover with her friend Katie Tuesday night because there was no school yesterday because of SEP's. She had a great time and when she came home, Katie's mom thought it would be a good idea to send this home with her!

Well...I told her we could keep it on a temporary basis, but I can't see us giving it back even now, because it has a name and a litter box, and Sabryna has 'promised' to take care of it. So, we will see, but we are all pretty attached already. She is a girl and Sabryna has named her 'Gabriella' (because it's just such a pretty name mom!) and we are calling her Gabby. My two other cats, can't stand her and Allie (the dog) would love to play if she would just stop hissing! Haha! So, on to a new adventure, just what we need!

I was going to try that 'Thursday Thirteen' thing that I have seen on a lot of other blogs, but I don't know if there are rules or anything specific I have to do for it. Anyone who is fairly knowledgeable about it let me know will ya? Also, any ideas for categories would be nice too. :)

I'm already ready for soccer to be over. I wouldn't mind and would enjoy the games if it weren't so dang cold already! The wind is miserable and having a newborn in it isn't good, so we have been spending the last couple of games in the van. My poor girls freeze to play, and when they get in the van when they are done they have little red runny noses and red cheeks. I hope October is warmer than September has been. I guess it's time to break out the winter clothes!

Today is picture day. I don't know about you, but my kids seem to make goofy faces in pictures. Sabryna loves to have her eyes wide open in this surprised expression and Mychigan smiles with no teeth and no smile in her eyes. I'm hoping the photographer helps them to smile real smiles. I was surprised last year when Sabryna's picture turned out almost perfect. She smiled so well! I hope she does this year too. They both look beautiful, and I will love their picture no matter what, but it's nice when they are good pictures...it's not like they are cheap!
